Step from the Casa onto this rare stretch of sandy beach. Beach sports include boogie boarding, skim boarding and surfing. Observe dolphins, whales, sea and shore birds in their natural habitat. Ride horseback or soar in an ultralight over the magnificant Pacific Ocean and up the river valley.

Surf fishing is a favorite sport of some guests; deep sea fishing is available out of Ensenada, 45 minutes south.

The Real del Mar 18-hole course is 25 minutes north on the toll road to San Diego.

The fabulous 27-hole Baja Mar course lies 10 minutes south of our Casa.

Visit Fox Studios Baja, where Titanic and other movies were filmed.

Day trips might include a trip to LA BUFADORA. This in an amazing natural blowhole that spews seawater and foam high into the air through a natural cave formed by marine erosion. The gush of water can rise up to 24 feet when the waves pound into it, producing the sound associated with its name. Located 45 miles south of Ensenada at the tip of Punta Banda Peninsula.

Shore and sea birds are plentiful on the beach and inland up the river estuary which lies at the south end of the beach.
